Hiroto Takeuchi (1979-) is a electronic musician and sound artist from Tokyo, Japan. He works for the electronic music labels in Tokyo and Seoul as a composer and a producer. His primary medium is sound, principally involving but not limited to live electronic, electro-acoustic composition and installation. In live performances, he usually applies self-made tools, modular synthesizers. He prefers that improvised performance be driven unintentionally under the influence of using generative tools. Recently he has been interested in the topics of algorithmic composing, generative music, improvisation and real-time processing, including their effectiveness.

In 2017 he started new collaborative projects with a sumi-e painter Yosuke Sakai, which aim to connect live painting and real time composition of music, and participated in the International live Coding Conference 2017 and Algorave Tokyo in 2017.
