Using Accelerometers for Gestural Control of Computer Music by Christopher Morgan
Fractured is a composition for dancer and computer music utilizing two wireless three-axis accelerometers worn on the backs of the dancer's hands. Their data is transmitted as OSC messages to a computer running the Max-MSP environment to generate and shape all of the sounds and musical gestures.
