When movement improvisation meets sonic composition in the shape of a ball, who leads and who follows? Teetering on the edge between music and noise, can the dancer's next move create art or chaos?     "So Predictable!?" builds on a series of interactive music performance using the Distributed Interactive Audio Devices (DIADs), a set of portable Raspberry Pi-powered sonic devices. The DIADs are standalone sonic objects that are network-aware and sensor-enabled, and are housed in soft tactile balls. The performers improvise with peculiar mappings and temporal dynamics programmed into the DIADs, and explore the sonic properties of this spatial performance.
