A hands-on meta-workshop for using mechatronics to teach Kindergarten to 12th Grade (K-12), and Kindergarten to College (K2C) workshops for the development of programming skills. Using 10 mechanical glockenspiels (see figure 1), the proposed workshop will guide participants to think critically about the revised Bloom’s taxonomy as a means of designing lesson plans. Teachers can facilitate learners to use simple mechatronics for sound production to discuss matters of coding, and programming.
